Harbor Transit Multi-Modal Transportation System NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Residents of the Harbor Transit Service Territory, (Village of Spring Lake, City of Grand Haven, City of Ferrysburg, Grand Haven Charter Township, Spring Lake Township) and other interested parties, please take notice there will be a public hearing on the proposed FY2020 Harbor Transit Multi-Modal budget on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 5:30pm.             The property tax millage, proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget, will be the subject of this hearing. Harbor Transit is seeking a full-time Mechanic.  Under general supervision of the Motor Pool Crew Leader and in conjunction with the fulltime Harbor Transit Mechanic, this individual performs a variety of automotive and equipment repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.  Primary responsibility will be working with the bus and trolley fleet of Harbor Transit. The Harbor Transit Multi Modal Transportation System is seeking a Finance and Compliance Coordinator. Under the general direction of the Transportation Director, this individual will be responsible for financial and compliance management, recordkeeping, and reporting.  Responsibilities will also include grant writing and general oversight. The successful candidate will possess proven skills in managing multiple projects and maintaining complete and clear records. The ability to gain a thorough understanding of FTA, MDOT and NTD policies, procedures and reporting deadlines will be necessary. Read more
