The Lakeshore Trolley
The Lakeshore Trolley runs Thursdays – Mondays throughout the summer, picking you up and dropping you off at local sites of interest. This is a great summer activity that the whole family can enjoy!
*Both trolleys are wheelchair and walker-friendly, and strollers/wagons are welcome on board in a folded position.
2026 Trolley Season Information
The Lakeshore Trolley season is from May 28, 2026 through September 7, 2026.
Please note that the trolleys will not be running on Saturday, August 1, 2026 (Coast Guard Saturday). No reservation is required to ride the trolley. Passengers may purchase tickets ahead of time if they wish, or they can pay for their fare with cash upon boarding.
Coast Guard Festival Week: Please note that the Buccaneer Loop trolley will not be able to stop at Chinook Pier (stop #2) or The Depot (stop #3) through August 2nd. Please expect delays on the trolley routes due to heavy area traffic.
Pick-Up Information
The trolley will pick you up if you are within three-quarters of a mile from the trolley route. Please provide 24 hours notice to ensure we can accommodate your request. Call 616-842-3200 during normal business hours to make your request.

Fares
One Ticket, One Day Of Fun
One ticket per person is all you need for a full day of fun! Get on and off the trolley as many times as you please for the day.
Pay for your trolley token one of the following ways:
- cash upon boarding (exact change only)
- online for the date you intend to ride and show your driver the receipt
- available for purchase at Harbor Transit at 440 N Ferry Street, Grand Haven, MI 49417
Please Note:
- Drivers do not carry cash on board.
- Tickets purchased online are non-refundable and cannot be transferred for use on a different date.

Introducing… Friday Theme Nights on the Lakeshore Trolleys! Every Friday there is a new theme, and from 5pm-10pm, you can ride for FREE if you are dressed to match the theme. Bring a group of friends along and enjoy a fun night out on the town! See below for upcoming theme nights.

Both trolley routes, the Buccaneer Loop and the Laker Loop, take approximately one hour to complete, depending on area traffic and weather.
